We've been through this how many times? It's because of the memory being to small and poorly managed. Period. It would have been out a year ago otherwise.

It may eventually come out, but it won't be backward compatible with many games and it will gimp some future games.

Driving games without custom music is a crime against humanity.

This game looks awesome. Hard core science fiction story mixed with mythology. Looks a little like an RPG version of DMC4 game play only without the crappy DMC story. Please let there be no platforming!!

Keep it as an add-on. Most people don't give a cr@p about playing movies on their game console. Not to mention that 99.9% of the females of our species absolutely reject this concept.

I much prefer having a second drive anyway. One drive for games and one drive for movies. Much, much more convenient. On my 360, I watch a half dozen movies in the time it takes me to complete a single game. This is way more convenient and cuts down on disk swapping big time.

LOL! Without Ethernet ports these players are as obsolete as HD DVD players. Blu Ray 2.0 players won't be out until summer/fall and they'll be a lot more than $200. Until then, buy a PS3 if you want a forward compatible player...

I played all the way through once and sold the game on eBay. It was a good game, but I can't stand the Playstation/Nintendo style platforming and complex button pushing combo systems. This may be good for a 10-15 year old, but not for me. I almost quit the game on level 12. That stupid timed mode and laser beam jumping took forever to finally make it through and each time you had to go all the way back to the beginning.

I normally stick to good old FPS games, but Capcom did ...

Without damage GT5 is just REALLY GOOD eye candy.

Forza 2 never ceases to amaze me with the physics engine, car customization and damage modeling. Remember that the physics in Forza 2 are calculated 300 times per second instead of 60. If you hit a wall and damage the front suspension; you can feel it in the force feedback wheel so realistically that you think you're driving a real car. I've had tons of races where I was leading and damaged the car in the last lap or two. Tryi...

I know there are a lot of games that people are really truly looking forward to on the PS3. I know this because there are many who are very vocal about them. KZ2, GT5 and MGS for example. Does anyone really care about Home? Is anyone really waiting on this? Is it just me or does Home look incredibly stupid? I think it's all hype.

I understand the MS already was developing something like Home a couple of years back and scrapped it. Good riddance!

There may be SPU's sittling idle, but there is no unused RAM. The PS3 memory architecture was poorly designed and much too small to service 7 SPU's at the same time running "RAM hungry" programs like video games. It does great at tiny programs like Folding at Home though.

This is the dirty little secret of the PS3. The PS3 should have had 1 gig of dual ported RAM from the get-go. This would have been WAY more important to pay the extra coin for than Blu Ray. Sony's...

I'm sure XMB would have been out long ago if it was as technically simple as it seems on the surface. Probably because there is not enough RAM to implement it properly. In game XMB will require a chunk of RAM that I bet wasn't (couldn't be) reserved for "future expansion" in the early days. If that's the case then XMB won't work with current games and implementing it will gimp some future games.

Sony skimped on RAM to save cost and their OS design is obviously lackin...

I've been waiting for this game for a long time. The original 360 version had the best controls and cover system of any game I've ever played. I played it all the way through and was wanting more.

I need a good shooter to go along with all my racing games. I'm tired of COD4 and REALLY tired of DMC4. DMC4 has way too much Nintendo-like platforming and g@y cutscenes. I'm not big on 3rd person either. R6V2 is a sure-fire hit for me. I'll take that good old PC/xbox style FPS ...

My drive isn't going anywhere for a while. I use the HD DVD drive to watch normal (Netflix) DVDs more than HD DVDs anyway. I MUCH prefer having an external drive for movies. I usually take a month or so to finish a game and just leave the disk in the drive for the whole time. This saves me tons of disk swapping, since I watch 5-10 movies in the time that it takes me to finish a game. DMC4 has been in my game drive since the day it released. I've shuffled at least six movies through the ...

100.0% chance that I'll buy it. Looks like DMC, but much better theme and story.

Lets see a roundup of scores from Metacritic (the only site that matters for statistics like this). The running total for AAA games:

360: 11
PS3: 3
Wii: Who cares

To me the console with the best library is the one with the highest attach rate.

I love Netflix and have rented many HD DVDs. Simple as the current Netflix service is to use, I'd rather do away with shuffling disks completely. This is one of many reasons why Blu Ray will never be as big as the original DVDs or VHS.

Video on demand is the way of the future. Hard disks are the new VHS. My HD DVR from Directv already is connected to my cable modem and downloads video-on-demand programming across the internet. Some shows are free, some are PPV. Some are f...

Rarely has a game been so much better than I expected. This one just keeps getting better too!

The first version had the best controls and cover system ever. This game should be the same - only with much improved graphics.

100.0% chance that I will buy it!

This game looks awesome to me. Looks like DMC only better, deeper story. You never know with new IPs, so hopefully there will be a demo. Even old IPs can suck - like Turok. I would have bought Turok if it wasn't for the demo. I loved that game on the PC years ago.

The 360 version is better simply because I can play my own music streaming from my PC while driving. I can even reach over and skip songs using an IR remote while holding the wheel with my other hand.

I'd rather have white-hot knitting needles jammed into both ears than listen to that standard crappy urban music over and over again.

I played the original game all the way through and loved it. One of my top 10 all time games. Can't wait to replay it from XBL. Hopefully the new version will release this year like they claim.

It's coming out for the PS3 too? At least now we know why it took 12 years to program!! Just kidding, glad my PS3 friends can play it too. Hopefully the original will be on PSN too?

I listen to music streaming from my PC hard disk while playing my 360. This seems like such an automatic thing for a "next gen" machine to do. Its mind boggling that Sony hasn't implemented it yet!

The music that's included with games always sucks bigtime. Techno/modern/urban crap that makes me want to puke. For years I simply shut the in-game music off. Now I can listen to the many, many gigs of music that I have accumulated over the years on my PC. You can even...
